A Milestone Year
For a decade, the Salt Summit has brought together municipal leaders, scientists, businesses and policymakers to reduce road salt use without compromising winter safety and protecting drinking water, infrastructure and ecosystems. This milestone year celebrated measurable progress (including flatlining and early signs of declining Lake George chloride levels) and aligned partners on the next decade of solutions.
