Lake George, NY (July 15, 2026) – The Lake George Association (LGA) is pleased to welcome Megan Seeley as its new Membership & Development Manager, where she will help deepen relationships with members, donors, businesses and community partners who make the organization’s freshwater protection possible.
In this role, Seeley will lead member and donor engagement initiatives, support annual giving and sponsorship programs, coordinate fundraising events and help connect individuals and businesses with meaningful opportunities to invest in the long-term protection of Lake George’s water quality and clarity.
A longtime Lake George resident, Seeley brings extensive experience in community engagement, marketing and relationship building. Most recently, she served as Associate Director of the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB, where she worked closely with local businesses, nonprofits, municipalities and community partners. Through her work with the Chamber, Seeley developed a deep understanding of the region and built meaningful relationships across the Lake George community.
“Megan understands that protecting Lake George is ultimately about the people who love it, and the voices who are willing to speak up on its behalf,” said LGA President & CEO Dr. Brendan Wiltse. “Science guides everything we do, but lasting conservation only happens when people feel connected to the mission. Megan has spent her career building relationships throughout this region, and we’re lucky to have someone with her passion, local knowledge and collaborative spirit helping more people become part of protecting Lake George.”
Beyond her work with the Chamber and participation in statewide tourism marketing initiatives, Seeley brings more than a decade of experience consulting with small businesses, nonprofits, schools and community organizations on communications and community engagement. She also currently serves as Marketing Chair and Board Member of Kringle Kottage.
“I’ve always believed that Lake George has a special way of bringing people together. Whether someone has lived here their entire life, visits the Lake every summer or simply cares about protecting clean water, everyone has a role to play in safeguarding our region,” said Seeley. “I’m honored to join the Lake George Association and look forward to building relationships with our members, supporters and partners while helping connect even more people to the mission of ensuring the enduring protection of Lake George water quality and clarity.”
